EXHIBITION

Located in our newly refurbished synagogue annexe, this exhibition showcases the congregation’s history of 230 years through images, artefacts and silverware.

As well as our own record books, on loan from Liverpool Record Office, there are several items donated by families within the community. A Masonic apron, seder plates and beautiful silverware are amongst the contributions.

A Megillah (Book of Esther) scroll and choral manuscripts in the Tonic Solfa style can be seen, as well as many other artefacts relating to Liverpool Old Hebrew Congregation's illustrious musical history, including the works of Abraham Saqui and Samuel Naumbourg.
