Princes Road on YouTube
Over recent years there have been numerous videos made to promote Liverpool but we thought this one was worth a mention. Take a look on Youtube at this excellent and beautifully produced video which promotes the city of Liverpool and some of its cultural and social flavours. You may just catch our chairman Alaster Burman in one of the shots.
Princes Road on Television
Over the years, we have been featured on several different television programmes.
This first clip is from one that looked at some of the buildings in Liverpool that are featured in the Nikolaus Pevsner Architectural Guide books, edited by Joseph Sharples. The presenter speaks to the late Dr Cecil Moss about the importance of maintaining our magnificent building. Thank you to Michael Swerdlow for recording this clip and providing us with a copy.
The next clip is a feature that was shown on BBC North West Tonight in what was probably early 2007. The reporter speaks to the late Dr Cecil Moss and also our rabbi at the time, Zvi Solomons, about the funds required to try and secure the structure of the building. Whilst some repair work has been done since then we are still very much in need of more funds to do more work, so if you can help in any way please do get in touch! Thanks again to Michael Swerdlow for providing the clip.
The clip below is part of a show called 'The Streets of Liverpool' that was shown on Bay TV Liverpool on 27th July 2016. A lovely 9-minute feature on the history and beauty of our synagogue. Thank you to all those involved and for Bay TV for providing us with this copy for everyone to enjoy.
